Sherbert X-large- $17 One of our older cultivars, but ever popular. Flat-faced 7+" blossoms create lots of color. 15 buds on 30" scapes.

Squiggles and Smiles
$ 15 5.5" flowers on 24" scapes, 18 buds. Named for it's squiggly (sometimes toothy) edge, S&S's pale sepals and bright throat really make the deep purple petals pop.

Swanky Stripes- $24 This one has been admired by guests for a while & is finally for sale. Bold white stripes, intense green throat, plus a bicolor format. 5.5" blossoms on 30" scapes. 16 buds.

Static
$27 5.5" flowers on 30" scapes, 15 buds. The edging of Static is not only extremely ruffled, but has a distinct green-tone threading throughout. Quite unusual. (Picture does not show it as strongly, as it is.)

Sunsational- $23 Large 7+" blossoms with an orange-red center, almost smiling at you. With a bud count of 21 per 36" scape, it's a long bloomer.

The Droopy Brood- $17 6.5" flowers on 30" scapes, 15 buds Beautiful velvety red. Petals are not always folded back.

The Green Machine- $24 This one is a bit of an enigma. Occasionally the petals are rounded and folded back, but mostly, like the picture. It has poker-straight scapes, standing like British Soldiers. 7" blossoms, 15 buds on 34" scapes.

Trisepal Tops

That's Mine
$17 5.5" flowers on 23" scapes, 18 buds. Named from the first words out of Kitty's mouth, after seeing it's maiden blossom.

The Duck Stops Here- $19 Like the fine work of a calligrapher, an intricate burgundy trail skirts the outside of each petal. 6" blossoms, 12 buds, on 28" scapes.

Uptown Girls- $27 This plant makes it's presence known with 7+" beautiful cranberry red petals. The sepals are just as intense to double it's impact! 18 buds on 38" scapes.

Uncle Festus- $24 This plant is a classic example of why the bud count of a plant only gives part of the story. U.F. blossoms on and on because of it's crazy high scape density. 6" blossoms, 15 buds on 33" scapes.

Vibrant Vision- $19 The soft edge connecting the green throat and peachy-pink petals, give V.V. it's distinctive look. 20 buds creating 5.5" blossoms in shorter 23" scapes.

Veins of Violet- $18 Bud count 18-20, 6 1/2" blossoms on 30" scapes. Very consistent and color fast.

Wiggles- $14 Bud count 15 on shorter 22" scapes. 5.5" blossoms.

Yellaphant- $21 Both parents of Yellaphant are reliably double performers. However, last year's rain, rain, rain had strange effects on many daylilies and Yellaphant refused to double all year long. It was still a brilliant, beaming yellow. 6" flowers, 15 buds on 31" scapes. I assume it will be back to doubling this yr.

You'll Go Ga Ga- $21 As all veteran daylily-growers know, weather and "the day" can change the looks of a flower. YGGG, certainly exemplifies this - darker the first half of the day, lighter as the day goes on. Bud count 12-15, 6" blossoms on 33" scapes.
