The daylilies listed as "Our Seedlings" (3 pages of them) have been grown by us from pollen to mature plants. They are the survivors of our culling, drought and unprotected winters. Most of them are in the final phase before introduction. Note: The names are not "official" (some are abbreviated) and are just an easy way for us to remember the plant's looks. (vs. a random number or row number)

All Buttered Up is a beautiful polychromatic blend of green, yellow and peach, wrapped in an unusual form of curled sepals and petals. It's 6" flowers consistently curl and has 20+ buds on 38" scapes. Dip $33

AntiDentite exudes strength in every way. The toothy 7-8" blossoms are perched on tall 40" scapes, with great branching and bud count. (25+ buds) Tet, SE, 4-way branching $25

Avenue of Elegance is an impressive, flat-faced flower that projects distinction and a massive amount of color. Saturated green and pink tones adorn the 7-8" blossoms. 20 buds on 34" scapes. Dip, SE, 4-way branching $33

Bright and Early livens up any corner of a garden. The smiling faces of green throats, feather into outer flat cream-colored petals. 15 buds, 6" blossoms on 35" scapes. Dip, Dor, 4-way branching. $22

Bite Your Tongue - A bold white mid-rib streaks across each petal, like an exclamation mark, just for emphasis ! Bite Your Tongue is a super strong plant - at least 7" blooms on 37" scapes with 20-25 buds each. Dip, Dor, 3-way branching $32


Blood, Sweat and Tears. - I'm a sucker for intense green throats and vivid red petals. BS & T has gorgeous 6" blossoms and 16 buds per scape. 29" scapes Dip, SE, 3-way branching $26

Big Hearted Bloke - Displays an unusual watermelon color, using flat, huge, 8" petals. 38" scapes, Tet, SE, 3-way branching

Big Red Bottlerocket - Just a touch of green throat "bleeding" into each sepal, creates a unique effect on the Big Red. 6" blossoms, 15 buds on 33" scapes. Tet, Dor, 3-way branching $25

Catch Some Rays - The red lines within the "sunny" rays, in each eye, resulted in the name for this one. 6+" blossoms, 16 buds on 35" scapes, Tet, Dor, 3-way branching $28

Cry Me a Liver - The dark, rich, maroon petals open cleanly and consistently. The massive green throats almost seem spray-painted on. The 5.5" blossoms are on 26" scapes. 15 buds, Dip, Dor, 3-way branching.

Downright Delight
This "child" of Harold Steen has many of his great traits. Vivid colors, beautiful edge, lots of buds/scape density. 6+" blossoms, 16 buds on 35" scapes. Tet, SE, 3-way branching. SOLD OUT

D. Cluck - Cluck is classic chick yellow, and it's scape density more than makes up for it's average bud count. 6-7" blossoms, 12 buds on 32" scapes, Dip, Dor, 3-way branching. $22

Easy on the Eyes 18+ buds, 5.5" flowers on 34" scapes. Another deceptively colorful plant with great scape density. Dip, SE, 3-4 way branching. $28

Eye'm Special

Eye Y. - If you're looking for a soft, elegant, graceful flower, this 7+" blossom hits the mark. 15 buds on 27" scapes, Dip, Dor, 3-way branching. $28


Entertaining Angels - This plant blew through the difficult winter of '25 - maintaining a bud count of over 20, 6+" blossoms on 38" scapes. The green throat often extends into the sepals and softly feathers into the dark pink petals. Dip, Dor, 3-way branching.

Fan the Flames 7.5 - 8" flowers on 41" scapes, 20 buds. What you see, is what you get, with Fan the Flames. The luminous, green eye, sets-off the flat-faced, rich red petals, even onto the sepals, Dip, Dor, 3-way branching. $33

Fruit Loop- I wanted to emphasize the great 4-way branching on Fruit Loop - thus, the picture angle. Super strong 38" scapes and emerald green throat on 5" blossoms. 24 buds. Tet, SE, 4-way branching.

Fire Drill Thrill - A product of 2 Gossard intros, Fire Drill is a thrill that seems to never end. Most scapes have 30 buds, with 7" (and occasionally 8") blossoms. Very winter hardy. 40" scapes, Tet, Dor, 4-way branching. $33

Flamboyant Flamingo - (garden name) Doersch, (Sighs Matter x Peach Preserves) 7+" Dorm, Dip 15-18 buds. Like all flat-faced blossoms, the area of color seems to become a wide expanse. As a bonus, Flamboyant holds it's massive flower outward, as well. $47


Ferrari - (garden name) Doersch, (Emerald Starburst x Gemstone Red)
6+" 15-18 buds, Dip, SE, 3-way branching. Amazingly bold colors. Absolutely does not melt in the sun. The colors just keep getting more intense, as the day goes on. $70


Fandango - Interestingly, there are slight variations in the intensity of Fandango's eye that seem to be caused by the weather. Another super hardy plant that blossoms for weeks on end. Massive 24 bud count, 6+" blossoms on 40" scapes, Tet, Dor, 4-way branching. $28

Glowing Embers- An intense red eye, molded within the vivid 5.5" orange petals, have these blossoms burning hot! Add to that, a 24 bud count, creates a fountain of flames for weeks. Beams across the garden. 34" scapes, Tet, Dor, 3-4 way branching. $32

Grace's Glory - One of those evergreens that I'd call hardy, Grace's Glory's chalky eye and bitone color pattern, create an impactful contrast to the cherry red petals. 15 buds on 37" stalky scapes. 6" blossoms, Tet, EV, 3-way branching.
